“Join one of Scarborough Health Network Foundation’s Philanthropic Councils and become a leader in shaping the best health care for our Scarborough community.”

about

The vision for the Philanthropic Councils is to create a voice for advocacy and diversity, developing memberships and a database of individuals that would like to be involved with Scarborough Health Network Foundation and/or Scarborough Health Network (SHN). Through information sharing and engaging in feedback and exchange, Council Executives act as an inclusive voice from a culturally diverse perspective. Specifically, each council cultivates events identified by its members and is responsible for identifying and soliciting prospective major gifts within the community, while also focusing effort on motivating advocacy and political movement.

SHN Foundation currently manages six Philanthropic Councils, each with their own mission and group of community members advocating for SHN Foundation and/or SHN.

Below you will find resources relevant to all Philanthropic Councils and their members.
